Gunung Kawi

But it’s worth it... Love this place... You can see the rice fields when you go down the mountain... When you come here in Ubud, A bit disappointed. Over 200 stairs, which is a bit exhausting, especially in Bali it is hot! Stone carving and beautiful surroundings are delightful, however we look forward to exploring the temple. Finally, it lasted about 10 minutes before the exhausting trek back to Ubud.

The Shengquan Temple is here in Kawei Mountain. It is recommended to rent a motorcycle to go. It is quite convenient. The scenery of Kawei Mountain is very good. There are mountains, water and buildings to see. If you are tired of the sea view, you can come and visit.

It is spectacular here, there are many ancient left items, it is said that this is the royal tomb, there is no guide, so it is quite other tourists introduced, but you can still feel the degree of importance of the locals here.

Mount Kawi is an ancient imperial mausoleum, built in the 11th century AD. It is a world cultural heritage of Bali. If time is enough, it is worth visiting. The site was built in memory of Anak Wungsu, king of the Udayana Dynasty in Bali, and his concubines. Feel the geomancy here is still very good, quiet and concealed, rocky cliffs, springs turbulent, there is also a Hindu temple to visit. Generally speaking, there are not many people here. About 8 kilometers circled up and down the mountain path to Shengquan Temple, which is also the scenic spot of Ubu, and there are many visitors. Shengquan Temple was discovered in 962 AD. It is said that it has magical power. Different outlets have different effects. It has the functions of eliminating disasters, eliminating evil spirits and alleviating illness and pain. Hinduism's worship of water can be seen from this. Visitors go to Shengquan Temple for worship, hoping that the holy water can wash the body and pray for health and tranquility. Holy pools are divided into left pools for health and right pools for wealth. People come to Zuochi in an endless stream, which shows that people's desire for health is stronger than wealth.

Kawei Mountain is the mausoleum of King Anak Wungsu and his family. It was built in the 11th century and is also called the Old Holy Spring Temple. It is a considerable temple group. The whole is built on the mountain. Basically, the temples and sculptures are chiselled from the rocks. Compared with other temples, there are not many tourists here. Maybe the steps here scared them away.
