Lovely small sandy beach with limited parking beside Yacht Club. Has some lovely waterfront trails for biking and walking. A few kilometres from downtown Barrie.
Disappointing - Non Barrie residents not welcome any more.
Two of us hoping to cool off in the water on a beautiful warm weekday were robbed of the experience because the City of Barrie is/has instituted a new bylaw it seems, preventing non residents from par...
You can swim or you can build sand castles in the sand at Johnson’s Beach. It is right in the heart of the city. Easy to locate and right off of the “rail trail” bike path.
Small but nice beach. Very quiet but not too far from some shops. The water is cold all year long which allows you a nice cooling effect during hot days

Hidden beach ... Well kept secret in the old end of Barrie! Been going here since I was a child...something not changed
