A fascinating drive thru the "foothills" along the river and reservoirs. Drive at least to the Dam. If you are inclined, go up the hill toward the Steele Bridge
Beautiful park, beautiful lake, beautiful views. It's not too far of a drive from Boise and there is plenty to do at the park for all ages. Has to be some of the greatest views in the area.

lots of fun
Great place for paddleboarding. Easy to get in and out. Great place for beginners and family friendly activities.
