We stayed at Xpujil and visted 3 ruins in one day. Becan, Chicana and Balamku. This one is not super bug but definitely worth stopping. Wear tennis shoes. You can climb the pyramid

Impressive ruins
The chicaná ruins are impressive Rio Bec style ruins, with a wonderful temple whose entrance resembles the mouth of a jaguar, symbolising the entrance to the netherworld. Definitely worth visiting.

Explendid Mayan Ruins
This wasn´t my primary destination, esplendid stone stalaes, its a must, very much like the rest, ruins with great jungle surroundings. Very well preserved piramids. It just takes like one hour to get...
