A lovely addition to Castlebar's other atttactions
A smashing way to stretch the legs on a 2km walk around the lake. Easy and safe parking. Close to town.
A very popular 1.9 kilometer loop but it doesn’t get too crowded or difficult.

Went with my friends on a few occasions and I love it. Great place to walk/jog. Beautiful scenery, especially looking over the lake at the bridge.
Well laid paths and great scenery.
This is a great amenity for locals and visitors alike and was being well utilised while I was there. I would like to come again in the summer and view the scenery in all its summer glory.
