Engelberg

Legend has it that Catholic Benedictine monks came to the valley to establish a monastery in the voice of angels. Therefore, the place was named Engelberg, which means “home of angels” in German. This Angel Town developed into a valley town centered on Benedictine monastery in the early 12th century. In the Middle Ages, Ingeburg was famous for the education of the local Catholic Benedictine monastery - Ingeburg monastery. Before joining the Swiss Confederation in 1798, it was an independent territory ruled by the monastery. Now the monastics are almost all teachers of the monastery's affiliated schools. The traditional cheese-making skills are preserved and can still be seen in the monastery's gardens. The town in the foothills of the Alps is very beautiful. The grassy grass full of flowers outside the abbey, the clear stream, and the snow-capped mountains in the distance are all beautiful scenery. The town is also very beautiful. The green mountains and woods around the house dot the town like a fairyland on earth. It is really worthy of the name of Angel Town.

Engelberg is a very nice place to unwind and also a gateway to Mt Titlis. Mount Titlis can only be reached by a series of cable cars from Engelberg via Trübsee and Stand. You can get to Engelberg by car or by train from Lucerne. There are regular trains in all seasons and it takes 43 minutes from Lucerne to Engelberg

There are many people traveling in Ingeburg. What makes me uncomfortable is that the bathroom is written in Chinese, please don't step on the toilet. Everyone pays attention to the quality when they go out!
