You can see the whole picture of Hachimantai.

From the farewell of Genta on the Hachimantai walking path, you will arrive at the Gentamori Observatory on foot 10 on the mountain road. From the observatory, you can see the whole picture of Hachimantai. It is a wonderful view with a view of Mt. Kodake and Hachimanuma. However, this is a mountain area, with only an azimuth board installed, and there are no benches. The observatory is also narrow. However, since you came to Hachimantai, it's a good idea to enjoy the atmosphere of the mountains, which is different from the walking path.
I parked my car at the Chausudake trailhead and enjoyed climbing the top of Mt. Chausu ~ Kumano Izumi ~ Gentamori ~ Hachimannuma ~ Hachimandaira. Gentamori in the middle of this course has a display, and if you go up 2 ~3 minutes to the right, you will reach the open place. You can see the whole Hachimantai well, and if the conditions are good, you can see Akita Koma and Mt. Chokai on the south side.
It is a mountain named Gentamori. It is a part of Hachimantaira. It looks like a trapezoid from around Hachimanuma. The view above is quite good. It is about 10 minutes from the Gentamori branch.
It takes about 20 minutes from Hachimanuma. On the day of the event, the weather was downhill and I could finally see Mt. Iwate. However, the 360-degree view overlooking Hachimanuma is wonderful.
Chausu Dake → It is right next to the mountain trail at the top of Hachimantai.

I headed to the summit of Hachimantai from the trailhead of Mt. Chausu. Even at Mt. Chausu, you can see the wonderful scenery, and after about an hour, there is a sign on the mountain trail. If you climb 30m from there, you will suddenly open your visibility. There is a display board on the observatory that represents three people. Iwateyama, Akita Koma, and I was lucky enough to see Toriumi on this day. Unfortunately, I can't see Hayaikemine.
