Tallest Mountain in Matsusaka Area
We have hiked several of the mountains along Route 166, including Hossaka, Shiraizan, Tsubonegatake, and Miune. This is the tallest of the lot, but it was not the most difficult, as the road allows fo...
The altitude of Mt. Takami is 1,248m, and the parking lot and toilet at Takami Pass, where the mountain trail begins, are 900m. Usually, it passes through the Takami Tunnel on the national highway. The lower world was sunny, but when viewed from the campsite in Higashiyoshino, the vicinity of the summit was in the clouds. Naturally, the fresh green is beautiful in the gas. It's a nice day, but if you're a little earlier, you should see the crossing of Sashiba heading north. The last time I came here was in the fall of a few years ago, and when I returned to the south, I was told that I could see "Takabashira", and some people ...
The bus is from Hashihara Station during the normal season, but on weekdays, there is no transportation unless you use a community bus. However, in this case, it is difficult in time if you want to take the return bus. I think bus service is better on weekends. Bus service is good from Haibara Station because it is a popular mountain in winter due to rime. I have climbed many times, but it seems that there is no particular danger, but I think it is easier to climb with a light eisen.
I go there every year during the snowy mountain season. There is a frosting bus from Kintetsu Haibara Station, and you can reach the trailhead in about an hour. Eisen is essential depending on the snow condition. You can see frosting from around the front of the summit. The tail of the commonly known shrimp is beautiful. It is an affordable course in the snowy mountains of Kansai.
Climbing in February. Small 1 hour from Kintetsu Hagiwara Station to the mountaineering entrance by Takamiyama mountaineering bus. In winter (limited time), the Kirii Bus leaves for Mt. Takami and Mt. Mimine, but if you are likely to make a mistake because the boarding place is different, please check with the staff in front of the station. There is a toilet in front of the trailhead bus stop. A gentle climb continues to Kotoge. Furthermore, climb up and down to the area around Otoge, and climb steeply from the area around Otoge to the top of the mountain. Eisen is a must because it is a snowy road or an ice road overall. It's quite on the legs. When climbing ...
