Rhododendron Time
Such a happy riot of colour. A very cheering walk at this lovely time of year for families. I always bring visiting friends and relations .. a pleasure at all tomes of year.
Lovely walks were had, the dogs thoroughly enjoyed the woods and we admired the blooming Rhododendrons. Stunning. The car park is very small so get there early. Take water for your dogs, if applicable...
The rhododendrons were late flowering this year and in mid May they buds were only just beginning to open. There were still a lot of bluebells in the lower woods and unfortunately the invasive spanish...
Great walks & trails. Beautiful peaceful surroundings. Gorgeous birdsong & rhodedendrums in full bloom. A surprise hidden lake a sight not to be missed.
