TIRED, DATED, AND DRIED OUT, FOOD AND ENTERTAINMENT

HORRIBLE in June 2024. We were here in Oct 2023 and were delighted that the food and entertainment at the luau were updated and good from years past. In June 2024 it was a totally different experience from just 8 months ago. Food so dried out you couldn't eat it, entertainment tired and dated like the old days (we've been coming here for 30 years). Where are the vibrant chefs and entertainers from last Fall? I'm embarrassed that I brought my family here after hyping up how much it changed from before. After spending $400 for food no one ate we ate at the fast food facility at the hotel after the show since the food was so terrible at the luau. This hotel is relying on our military to expect and accept below average service instead of being provided what they deserve for their service to our country and the amenities and paid for. I would never recommend this show to anyone.

Overall good, but needs work

Dancing was great: 5 stars Rest of the program: 3 stars Food: 3 stars Sound: 2 stars My first luau. $240 for two was a whole lot for what we got. It was more like a $160 for two deal. Some chopped fruits and poi, four meats and a scoop of white rice. My wife couldn’t finish her plate due to the abundance of salt. The sound at times was so loud I’m surprised my ears did not squirt blood. Really, there was no excuse for that. The dancing was the best part of the evening. There were some awkward moments in the show that need to be ironed out. Call in some pros to offer a critique. Let the women speak. Tell us a little bit about all the performers.
