It looks like an island floating on Lake Kitagata, but it is connected to the land. It is an oval bush of circumference ６００ meters and height ３０ meters. Since it was a dojo of the Hokke sect, it is said that it has never put an axe in hundreds of years. It is designated as a national natural monument.
