Historical residences of a wealthy Kitamaebune ship owner in Hashitate, an importe sea port for Kitamaebune trade routes
During our three stays in one of the Yamanaka’s onsens we wanted to explore the area beyond the onsen district. Not too sure where are worthy of our visits in this part of Kaga region we decided to st...
The residence of the Sakatani family, the owner of Kitamaebune, who was active in the Sea of Japan from the latter half of the Edo period to the Meiji period, and the Japanese garden are open to the public as a museum. The appearance of that time is completely left No, I was surprised at the gorgeous thing.
Kitamaebune traveled between Osaka and Hokkaido from the late Edo period to the mid-Meiji period, making huge profits. The mansion and garden of the Kitamae owner are open to the public. There is a room dedicated to the feudal lord, and the feudal lord may have visited 々. The Japanese garden with famous stones from all over the country from the inside of the mansion can be seen for hours.
One of the owner's residences of Kitamaebune. In the Edo period, the room visited by the lord of the Daishoji clan was left. The lord, who called at the port of Kitamaebune, would have come to the port and seen goods from various places. You can also buy exhibits such as Kutani ware at the tatami room here. It is also a target facility for a very good deal "Kaga Onsengo Passport".
A magnificent mansion where you can imagine the prosperity of Kitamae Bune

I stopped by when I visited the Kitamaebune no Sato Museum. Kurarokuen was designated as a registered tangible cultural property, and the mansion and garden were wonderful. I was able to feel the prosperity of Kitamaebune.
