Convenient an spacious
A convenient place to stop for refreshments and other things you may have to do after sitting around in a car for an hour or two. Not a very great selection of foods though, but a great Starbucks.
Delicious princess pork bowl. Cashless OK with ID d touch!

I took a break when I moved to Gunma for a holiday lunch by the Kamisato SA on the Kanetsu Expressway on the highway. At the store in it, we order two kinds of Sedon, Himeboku Katsu and Yakiniku, called "Himeken". It costs 1000 yen including tax with miso soup. The taste and softness of the delicious meat are very good. The sauce is also delicious with the sticky soak. Cashless is available at the ticket vending machine and the transportation system is OK.
A service area on the Kanetsu Expressway down line on the border between Saitama Prefecture and Gunma Prefecture. There are Arashiyama PA and Takasaka SA in the upward direction from here, but it is convenient to use this SA because it is always crowded. Also, if you go down a little further, you will be a branch (Fujioka JCT) heading toward Nagano to Niigata, so I think it is also a good meeting place when moving by multiple vehicles.
On the way from Tokyo to Kusatsu Onsen, it was about an hour and a half after leaving, so I stopped by. It was a service area with a very substantial souvenir shop and restaurants. The toilet was also clean. Recommended in a service area that is just right for a break.
Use a Udon shop called the food court "Mugi Satoya". It was delicious.

Use a udon restaurant called the food court "Mugi Satoya". It was delicious. It was also on the signboard of the souvenir shop, but Kamisato seems to be famous for "wheat". It seems to be udon made from the local production, but it was delicious. Thank you for the feast. Also, the "Fukaya Onion" on the udon was delicious.

Saitama last service area on the down line
