Awesome trail and great views
Whoo Hoo - the road is not the best / but it is worth the journey for the views. You can cycle from the top of Spray Lake down the trail into Banff - sweet
Beautiful Lake
We drove to Spray Lake to hike across from it on the High Rockies Trail and Sparrowhawk Tarns. Took a look at the lake after our hike and your could see the lake from the trails too.
Nice relatively isolated lake and drive
Wife and I drove out there at dusk hoping to see some wildlife. Nice views. Saw some deer, a beaver, and some birds. Gravel roads and a little bumpy. Nice drive to get out of town a bit.
