another nice contemporary art place.
if you like Japanese contemporary art, visit this place. unlike the famous Saison Art Museum, this place is small but contains several important artists' work, such as Yoshitomo Nara, Yayoi Kusama, e...
This is a museum in the forest of Karuizawa that feels like Karuizawa. The senior fee is 800 yen, and it seems that drinks were served in the past, but now you can get cookies 1. An artist exhibition across the sea was being held. From the large window of the museum, you can see the view called Karuizawa.
Nanchatte Museum of Art in the resort area. From National Highway 18, climb a narrow mountain road while overlooking the Municipal Museum of History and Folklore on the left. Potun and museum state. I went to see the exhibition "Mainly Nobuo Sekine, writers of the Mono school". Admission fee 1, 000 yen with soft drink service. Note that flash shooting and shooting only works that do not include people are refrained from the viewpoint of copyright. I'm not sure if selfie sticks are prohibited, but the hurdle is too high for one person.
If you buy an admission ticket, you can get drinks as a service, so it feels like you got a lot. Although it is a small space, there is also a gallery on the second floor so you can buy it. The place may be a little lost because it enters a narrow wooden road.

From the bus stop 1 of Karuizawa Station, take the bus via the former Karuizawa for 10 minutes and get off in front of the library. It is difficult to understand because there is no guidance after getting off the bus, so it is better to check the map in advance. From the library to the right, walk uphill for about 5 minutes ...
