London Canal Museum

The Canal Museum of London, a small museum north of King's Cross Station, is run by an Australian woman and covers many barges and London trading calendars. It is situated in a restored old ice house. A small shop sells books about canals, barges, etc.

As we strolled along the Regent Canal, we stumbled upon this London Canal Museum, a place worth stopping for and spending an hour learning about the history of the canals in England, especially London. Museums are full of exhibits showing the industries of long ago, which were integral to the Industrial Revolution.

Attended the museum as part of the meeting but was fortunate to have the opportunity to look around the exhibitions which were very interesting and informative. There was also a good coffee and buffet lunch. Staff were friendly and helpful.

It's a wonderful little museum. It's very informative. The Exhibition on the first floor is very good. It tells the history of the canal. The Museum lives in an old ice bank. The staff are very helpful. Although it's a small museum, it has a huge amount of information, and the exhibition is wonderful. I'm glad we can come here. It's wonderful.
