Art Museums
中西南北东
As a national museum, of course, the most worthwhile museum to visit, and is free to visit. The entrance is the oil painting area on the first floor, and the Catholic influence is deeply embedded in the country. Basically there are paintings about Jesus, his birth, suffering, reincarnation, etc. Some exhibition halls are still a story line, and in order to appreciate is a classic work in the Bible. On the first floor, there are also some modern Filipino oil paintings. You can see the Philippine giants and the dresses of politicians, food, clothing, housing and transportation. The second floor is more modern art, except for oil paintings, mainly artworks, crafts, original weapons, etc. There are also pearl shell works, wood carvings and so on. The basement is a collection of mineral specimens. Of course, as our immediate neighbor, the Chinese elements in the museum are also indispensable.

Located in a historic place called City Central in central Manila, this museum focuses on Chinese cultural heritage in the Philippines. A large number of furnishings show the Chinese's beginnings in the Philippines, from former Spanish trading partners, traders and businessmen to post-World War II business tycoons. A Chinese can look back at how the community started and look elsewhere. It is a must-see attraction, how the Chinese have always helped build the country.

Visited the National Museum of Natural History last month. The building is newly renovated. The museum displays specimens of animals, geology and plants collected and preserved from across the Philippines. The most attractive of these is the Tree of Life, with a huge building in the atrium, from floor to ceiling. Tickets are free and open every Tuesday to Sunday from 10am to 5pm.

After visiting San Agustin Church, , I walked around and accidentally saw this museum. The entrance fee is 75 pesos. The museum stipulates that a maximum of 30 people can only enter at a time. The staff reminded that you can only step on the red carpet. It shows a rich family home, from furniture, furnishings to living can be understood, and there are special people to explain, not lost to a good outside.

The usual price for non-manila residents is 250 yuan. We only spent 200 yuan because they have promotion. It is an interactive museum on two floors. Since its birth, more maintenance work is needed. I love their exhibition on the first floor about traditional Filipino medicine, and educate children about Filipino culture. When you are in Manila, you can come and visit!

It's the official residence of the vice president of the Philippines. Building structure and surrounding is very good and refreshing. Need to have an appointment to go inside.

This is a museum of the oldest, and still working, Catholic Church and convent. It gives a lot of history of the priests who came to the Philippines. Lots of art as well.
