Irozaki in Minamiizu Town, the southernmost tip of the Izu Peninsula, is a spot where you can enjoy the superb view of the sea! This time, I enjoyed the superb view from the sea using a pleasure boat. There are two types of courses that operate, but you cannot choose because the course is determined by weather such as waves and winds. I was worried about whether the pleasure boat was operating due to the wave warning, but it seemed that it was lifted and I was able to board the boat. The azure sea such as the steep cliffs, the chalk lighthouse, Okuishi Rozaki, and the Hirizo coast where you can see the seabed is impressive. I couldn't take good pictures because the pleasure boat shook and missed the shutter chance, and I couldn't take good pictures.
You can enjoy the spectacular view of Ishimuro Shrine from the sea side. It's a little profitable to get a discount ticket at the tourist information center or inn at the station. From Shimoda Station, take a fixed-route bus to Ishirozaki Port, and when you go around the cruise, you will find a return bus to Shimoda Station, so you can use your time effectively.
