This museum gives the whole perspective of Portuguese discoveries since the 15th century. From Brasil, to Cape Verde, Angola, Mozambique, Goa and Diu-India, Malacca- Malaysia, Danang, China and Japan. Fabulous exhibition, with interactive boards everywhere, description of how life at the vessels worked. Great to see the influences we received from each country and what we also contributed to their culture and what still remains these days. At the end a tour on a boat will take you from Lisbon, through Africa, India , Japan and Brasil in a 20min ride! Truly interesting!

It's interesting and it's a lot of theme.
A bit expensive for what it is - 4 small rooms and then a boat ride. My toddler really enjoyed the ride, so I’m glad we checked it out. But I would have been really disappointed had I been with adults only.
