Visited south side and did most of overlooks and short trails. It is a stupendous canyon and the painted cliff is exceptional. Worth a trip

Stunning views of deeeeep canyon, from well-marked short trails to the rim at several points along access road. Good signage helps you understand and enjoy the experience.

Walk the Rim Rock Trail!
Incredible views from the stops along the road. Skip the end trail and instead do the one by the visitor center! It is 1.5 round trip and the views are incredible. We walked almost to the campground.
