Rv spots are very close to one another. I drove around the park and couldn’t find anything to do or see so I left
This park is fine if you need a place to stay overnight, but there isn’t much/anything to do here. Definitely, don’t make it a destination that you go out of your way for.
We stopped for a lunch break while traveling from El Paso to Red River. Decent restrooms, very clean park, lots of picnic tables. Rangers were very helpful.
Disclaimer: we prefer solitude when we camp. I did choose a site with hookups (we have a teardrop) that was near the creek. Unfortunately, I couldn’t tell by the park map that the sites are right next...

Good for quick overnight stat
Only stayed one night passing through. Temperature was perfect!! We did tent camping and it was great. Very small creek close by.
