Saptaparni Cave

The Seven-leaf Grotto is a grotto located in the Vihara Mountain near the city of Wangshe in India. It is one of the five temples in the city of Wangshe. This is the place where the first gathering was hosted by King Ajataseya after the Buddha passed away. With the Great Kasyapa as the center, Arahants who possessed the three wisdoms, six supernatural powers, and wisdom and fruitful results were recruited to participate in the compilation of Buddhist scriptures. It was this gathering that laid the foundation of Buddhist scriptures and had a profound impact on the inheritance of Buddhism. The Seven-leaf Cave is on Mount Viybara. There are many winding stone steps to climb up the mountain. The cave is very dark and must be illuminated with a flashlight.
