Niitsu Railway Museum

The Shintsu-Keondo Data Center: Located in the inland plains of Shintsu-Keondo, Shintsu began a period of strong industrialization in the late 19th century, making the town the cornerstone of the coastal railway network in the Sea of Japan. As the site of many railway facilities, it is often said that one in four local employees worked on the railway during the heyday of industrialization. It was at this time that Shinjin was compared to Mihara, which is known throughout Japan as the main railway confluence point of the Tokaido main line. The Shinkansen 200 series (bullet train) and the steam locomotives are permanently displayed in the outdoor exhibition of the Data Museum!
