Paro Rinphung Dzong

It is the most famous temple in Bhutan and the best of the buildings we have seen in Bhutan. It is built on steep cliffs and has a stunning view of the Paro Canyon. The courtyard is spacious and bright. Because we were late, the yard was quiet, and only a few lamas were seen in a hurry.

Parozongborg is the former political, cultural and religious center of Bhutan. After moving to the capital in the 1950s, it became a pure religious center. There are many murals inside, which are worth admiring. The appearance looks very atmospheric, and it is still strong for 400 years. I have to say that the wisdom of the people of that year is still strong.
