There is no water or trashcans at this site, which re-enforces the "pack it in, pack it out" admonition. Found one cigarette butt on the trail, otherwise there was not trash to be found at the site, so you know it wasn't a vet that dropped it. (Field stripping of cig butts. Rember that?) Found another butt and a tent stake at a covered shelter in the parking lot. Those went into my trash bag. It appears that this site is not for the casual day tripper. It was essentially free of trash and debris.
