Great park to get lost in. Not as large as I expected but still a nice small challenge for hikers.
A park in the middle of SF! There are 2 entrances, one from above and one from below. Top is windy and cold and as soon as you hike towards the bottom, it's nice and warm. Great place for exercise. Dogs and signs of coyote sighting are present.
great place for hiking. you may spot a Coyote or 2 occasionally. Very quiet and pristine.
Right in the middle of San Francisco, there is a canyon that makes a great hike, whether alone or with family. At the entrance to the park there are tennis courts, a ball field, a newly remodeled playground with a few picnic tables, and a gym, but walk around the gym and you can hike back through the canyon, along the beginnings of Islais Creek. The adventurous can climb the steep paths on the east side of the canyon. An oasis in the middle of town.
Have a little hike at the peak of Glen Canyon Park for your morning exercise!
