For months I have been trying to get Nye Museum to return $105.95 of over-payment. They have delayed and lied through the whole process. To all Nye's: Some of these people are Nye's, most are not. I would never buy from them again. Here's the story, make up your own mind.TL;DRI ordered something from Nye Museum, USPS had trouble delivering. I disputed the charge on my card. Package finally arrived. I restored the charge on my card. (I paid $105.95). Nye museum claimed a -$105.95 balance on their PayPal account. I sent them a check for $105.95. Now my credit card was charged $105.95 and Nye Museum deposited my check (so I paid another $105.95). I paid twice. I have been asking for my money back. I have tried, politely, since May. It's September. Months of lies and delay tactics. My money is lost. Don't let this happen to you.I'd rather eat my own face than buy from or spend any amount of time with the Nye Museum.To all Nye's: I would boycott these shady characters. I have full documentation, email threads, bank records, etc. Send me a text if you want the .zip so you can decide for yourself.Btw on top of it all, the coffee mugs are junk. One wash, logos are a puddle, see the attached picture.There are so many better places to spend your time in Sandwich than the Nye Museum. I suggest the Heritage Museums, Hoxie House, Scusset or Sandy Neck Beaches, Dexter's Grist Mill, even the Town Hall is a better use of your time.
