    Cost us 10 euros each way from Ponta Delgado to get to the plantation. Self-guided tour took no more than 10 minutes. Gift shop was uninspiring with many items imported and not unique to Portugal. Ref...

    Our self-guided tour of small plantation was great. The cafe has an excellent selection of pineapple foods and drinks to eat plus a free sample. Also jam, liquor etc to buy. Allow about an hour
