The banyan tide forest is more beautiful than the sea.
The entrance from Prefectural Road 79 is only in the direction of Shirahama, and there is no information board to the beach. There is a row of banyan trees along the sea as a tide forest, which is wonderful. Don't miss it when you visit.
Perfect for snorkeling
It takes about 35 minutes by car from the center of Setouchi Town. It is a beach with few people, and the coral reefs are fine. There is a shower and toilet.
The road is narrow.
Is it okay here? It was a road that made me wonder. It's not just here, but Amami Oshima and Kakeromashima have extremely narrow roads when they get off the prefectural road. There was no one, so I think it's a little-known spot.

Perhaps it was a construction site on a narrow road, and some dump cars were able to be oncoming. Passing each other is Taihen. If you go to the end of the road, you will see the beach beyond the breakwater on the right. I couldn't find a parking lot when I went to the back. The sea was beautiful.

The road is very narrow, so you should be careful when you go by car.
