Old sulfur transport trail
The road from the back of Mt. Iwo rest house to the national highway. In the old days, sulfur collected from Mt. Iwo was transported to Kushiro using railroad tracks. The Aoba Tunnel is the site of the abandoned railway line. In autumn, the vermilion leaves are beautiful.
Green tunnel
Aoba Tunnel is a recommended spot in Teshikaga Town. Even though it is a tunnel, it is a tunnel surrounded by greenery. It is a course that walks for a little over an hour while enjoying nature in a trekking course. If the weather is nice, it is the best spot to take a walk.
