Good place to kill time
It is next door to Shibutsu Sanso and you can enjoy free lecture, slide show as to Oze plants & animals. Also they offer free tour waking along the nearby research garden(about 40 minutes). Unfortunat...
Many things related to Oze's history and nature are prepared as materials. There are also exhibits of three-dimensional models of the whole view such as Ozegahara and Ozenuma, stuffed bears, and inhabiting birds. The staff in charge will also explain 々 to the new establishment, and the toilet is adjacent. Don't forget that the toilet requires a donation of 100 yen throughout Oze
It is a place where you can first feel "〜 that came to Oze" for an hour by walking slowly on the stone steps and wooden paths from Hatomachi Pass. There are many benches around the visitor center, and I ate the lunch I brought while taking a break here. There are multiple cafeterias, so you can eat without bringing them. Here, cultivate your spirit and head to Ozegahara. On the way back, take a good rest and prepare for the climb to Hatomachi Pass.
This is the first passing point "Ozeyama Nose Visitor Center" when going from "Hatosamurai Pass Trailing Gate" to "Ozegahara".

This is the first passing point "Ozeyama Nose Visitor Center" when going from "Hatosamurai Pass Trailing Gate" to "Ozegahara". At the "Ozeyama Nose Visitor Center", it was impressive that many plant photos of "Oze" were displayed. By the way, it seems that you can stay in a tent here.
There are several mountain lodges near this visitor center. Please study Oze's basics at the visitor center, take a break, and then leave for the next Ryugu. "Hanabean Soft" is sold for 500 yen. If you're okay, please. There is a water supply in the self-catering area, so it's economical to pack water in a PET bottle and bring it with you. Drinks are expensive in Oze, and you have to dispose of your own garbage bottles. 4.4km to Ryugu.
