A shrine located about 5 minutes by car from the Chido Museum in Tsuruoka City. From the neighborhood, you can see a very large red torii gate, which is very eye-catching. It enshrines the god of the cherry blossoms.

I worshiped early in the morning when I stayed in Tsuruoka in October. I went by bicycle from the hotel. Sanpoara Shrine is a shrine located about 35 minutes walk from ＪＲ Tsuruoka Station. It is a shrine with a huge vermilion torii gate (you can see it from a distance). There was a main shrine with vermilion pillars on the black roof. The guardian dog was described as Taro lion and Hanako lion. It is a quaint new guardian dog. If you are interested in shrines and temples, why not visit them? ... near Nandakeji Temple (Shingon sect), famous for its imam Buddha.
