Hamdeok Beach

Hamdeok beach is a northern Jeju Island beach and is truly beautiful. Built up with volcanic rock, the islands layout is unique. Walk out to the bridge which allows you to access the singular picnic bench overlooking the water. The water and its various shades of blue is spectacular, the rocks stick out creating new shapes in the beach area. Activities can be taken on here - such as kayaking, jet ski or paddle board as well as scuba diving. #hamdeokbeach #jejuisland #watersports

Cocotero - Jeju Island

Located opposite Hamdeok Beach, there’s so many choices of Korean BBQ and other food. Mixed in you can find Cocotero, they have a small menu but the pizzas are huge! Definitely a meal you will have to share. Prices here are a little higher than some of the chicken places - 29000won for the large pizza but you won’t need to buy more than one between two. Drinks are standard - beers served cold and small other selection. Ordering is completely tableside - the iPad screen attached to your table is the order. Hallasan in Autumn

Fancy a one-day hiking challenge? Try hiking Hallasan on Jeju Island. The round trip will take around 10 hours if you are a non-hiker, so start early and wear a pair of good shoes that protect your ankle. The path is mostly rocky and steps can be very steep. The views at the summit are breathtaking, but be prepared to queue for a proof-shot for the certificate of completion. It now stands tall and dormant at the heart of Jeju. A must-do when visiting Jeju, and it will likely take the whole day to climb and enjoy the sights. I came a bit earlier to Jeju airport because I wanted to have Egg Drop for lunch. This is a popular sandwich shop as there are seatings area for the Jeju airport branch. You will use the self service kiosk to order and collect it when the staff page for your number. They are poplar for their scrambled eggs style sandwich. I ordered a set meal and an extra sandwich. Their bacon and turkey versions are also popular if you are a meat lover. Their eggs are fluffy and they added sugar to the toast too. There are 2 terminals at Jeju airport, international and domestic. But for tourists, you will have to enter using the foreigner lane. The Jeju airport departure hall is so pretty and there is a large whale with many LED lights. My check in counter for Air Busan is just right here. This whale will also change colours. Jeju airport is very efficient and you can use the self check in counter to check in or proceed to counter for manual check in. 🇰🇷 Grand Hyatt Jeju city hotel

An awesome hotel in Jeju city and the lobby carpark has all the electric cars which are really to deployed for hotel guests. This is Grand Hyatt Jeju City hotel and there is a beautiful water fountain right outside the lobby. It is very near the Lotte shopping malls and the vibes here feel great too. I will want to try out this hotel the next time I come back. This hotel is a high building and the views look great. The water fountain had some shows ongoing when I was there.
