The Roloj Bell Tower is located on a high post in the Turkish district of the ancient city of Rod. It is next to the large-scale Suleiman Mosque. This bell tower was built in 1857 and received a private donation in 1992 and was rebuilt. It should be regarded as the commanding height in the medieval old city. The bell tower has three floors. The sightseeing floor inside the clock tower is a panoramic view of the various styles of buildings in the medieval ancient city and the blue sea outside the city. It is also one of the excellent viewing spots overlooking the Suleiman Mosque. The TIPS clock tower is privately owned. There is a charge for climbing. Tickets 5 euros. Includes a free drink.
