沙漠里的赤裸裸Virginia Capitol. The Virginia Capitol has been open since 1785 and was designed by Thomas Jefferson and others. To commemorate the victory of the American War of Independence, Jefferson ordered the French architect Charles to replicate the building in Richmond in the shape of a 16th-century Roman temple in southern France. The original design model is now displayed inside the building, and visitors can come and go as they please. However, due to the late arrival, we missed the final admission time at 4 o’clock. We could only see the beauty outside. However, the entire Parliament Building Square was still quite open, and the surrounding buildings and scenery were also good. It’s worth walking around for an hour and visiting
