莲子99The most unforgettable part of the whole trip to Turkey. I stayed for four days and explored many places. I walked from the Zivir Open Air Museum to the no-man’s land. I almost couldn’t get out. I climbed onto a chimney and then I couldn’t get down. A crazy place to play.
DeeHyunNo words can express how amazing it was. Cappadocia is definitely the best place to go for honeymoon. The pilot was cool and made sure we were safe. Seeing the sunrise while riding the balloon is simply wonderful. Can’t wait to go back.
M34***68Fairy chimneys (Fairy Chimneys) are the most magical and unique landscape in the Cappadocia area. Stone columns of different shapes rise up and wear strange hats on their heads. People think that they live in the little fairies, so they call them fairies chimneys or fairies chimneys.
大姐小露開心果The Dungeons are the 30 or so excavated in Turkey to defend itself from the attack and take part in the local 3 day tour of Antalya to see what the niche route is. We went to Aksaray Derinkuyu Dai Linkuyou Underground City, which was opened to tourists in 1965, but so far less than half of the tourists can visit it. Um, I am lucky that ～This 85-meter-deep Elf Fortress preserves all the common rooms in the Underground City, the Horseshoe Wine Storage Room, the Cathedral Distillery ⋯ etc. The propelled circular stone plates can be blocked by internal blockades in the event of an attack, have wells and air circulation that can support large numbers of people and livestock for a long time, but are not suitable for long-term residence, walk through the ups and downs of the caves and really have a rejuvenating mood to step out Stone steps towards the sun, air, flowers, dew, especially thank you for living in the modern day without eating, sleeping, drinking blood, and sharing the surprises of travel with the most advanced technology ～
Turkey has long been a global crossroads. Straddling Europe and Asia, its lands have seen the rise and fall of vast empires including the Greek, Persian, Roman, Byzantine, and Ottoman. This long history combines with pristine natural beauty. Black Sea resorts dot Turkey’s northern coast. Grand cathedrals and mosques line the Bosporus Straits in Istanbul. Picturesque islands are scattered in the Aegean Sea. And ancient ruins coexist with modern luxury along the Mediterranean coast. It is a land for travelers seeking something exotic yet familiar. In this and so many other ways, Turkey is the ideal blend.

In Herodotus' time , Cappadocia reportedly covered the entire area from the Taurus Mountains to the Euxine region (on the Black Sea ), with the southern boundary of the Taurus mountain range separating it from Cilicia , the eastern boundary of the headwaters of the Euphrates and the Armenian highlands , the northern boundary of Pontus , and the western boundary. Lycaonia and eastern Galatia . This name is traditionally used in the sources of Christianity throughout history and is still widely used as an international tourism concept to define a region in Turkey which has a number of natural wonders, especially the "fairy chimneys" ( fairy chimney ) and cultural heritage of Anatolia and Turkey are unique. Cappadocia is also mentioned in the Christian Bible , among other things in Acts 2:9 as one of the areas from which the group who heard the gospel message at Pentecost took place shortly after the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ .
When we first arrived in Cappadocia, it didn’t feel like we were stepping out of a bus. It felt more like we were getting off a spaceship.
It was the oddest-looking landscape I had ever seen with its mushroom-capped fairy chimneys and cities carved in stone. Cave dwelling has a long history in Cappadocia so people have likened its landscape to the Flintstones but to me, it felt more like the surface of the moon, completely alien and not of this earth.
One of the things that surprised me the most about Turkey was its geographic diversity. Natural or man-made, there is so much to marvel at from its calcium travertines in Pamukkale to the minaret-filled skyline of Istanbul. But for me, Cappadocia topped them all. It’s beauty, as you’ll soon see, is out of this world.❤️
Lying in south central Turkey, the moonscaped region of Cappadocia, southeast of Ankara, is most famous for unique geological features called fairy chimneys. The large, cone-like formations were created over time by erosion of the relatively soft volcanic ash around them. Past cultures have dug into them to create dwellings, castles (like Uchisar) and even entire underground cities like Kaymakli and Derinkuyu, used as hiding places by early Christians. Nearby Kayseri is the gateway to the area.
This year treat yourself to memories for a lifetime. Treat yourself to the great outdoors. Discover one of Turkey's greatest tourist treasures: the Cappadocia. Its wind-sculpted fairy chimneys in the "Love Valley" but also the Goreme National Park and its cave constructions make Cappadocia one of the most beautiful regions in the world. Over the centuries, cave villages but also castles, sanctuary, have been dug by man in the rock of the Cappadocia region. These are real underground cities, invisible to the naked eyes, just waiting to be discovered . Do not miss to fly over the region in a hot air balloon and visit Ulchisar Castle, ranked among the most beautiful castles in Turkey.
Incredible hotels, carved out of stone, will be your home for a romantic getaway, with your family or a road trip in Turkey. Hundreds of unique experiences await you in Cappadocia such as a sunrise hot air balloon flight, a camel safari ride or a horseback riding experience in Cappadocia. Do not miss to visit the Ihlara Canyon, another wonder of Cappadocia.
Book your flights to Kayseri Airport (1h by car) as well as your transfer and your accommodation.
It's a beautiful and unique place where we can see the beauty of this place from above the balloon
The hot air balloon experience itself is amazing.
However we were not notified or contacted by the agent until 6pm the night before the actual activity to confirm on pick up time.
We had trouble confirming the pick up time the day before and not knowing if the activity will proceed as planned and this causes a lot of distress on our plans.

Yaprakhisar is a part of Cappadocia national park. You will see the nicest examples of conical fairy chimneys here. Since the area is very similar to Star Wars Film Set, Yaprakhisar is known as “Star Wars Movie Set”. The view is awesome. It's nice to look down from the hill when you hike to the top. There are several chimney rooms you can enter, which some were used as kitchen, even as a church! You can enter here with a ticket to the Ihlara valley. Old people's life is worth discussing. Please pay attention to the windy weather and the sandstorm during winter/spring season though. Best way to get here is to join the Green Tour of Cappadocia 🤎🌿🌟🌳🌸⛅️ #nationalpark #urbanexplorer
The best place to go for horse riding they are probably the best in Cappadocia, Goreme👌 Here they have safety in mind for all types of riders they have good horses and you can tell they have been looking after their horses 🐎 This is a magnificent experience while in Cappadocia, probably the best adventure that you'll have. The ride of almost 2 hours took us through snow breathtaking landscapes and the experience of doing it on horseback was spectacular. I recommend it 200%, and I would return to do this activity without thinking twice 🤎⛅️🌟🌼 #nationalpark #urbanexplorer
