TodemmyThis place is a long walk but it comes with great views and wonderful hike through some of the most spectacular kinds of plants. If you play ingress be sure to start the mission early as it is a long one. There is minimum shade and a lot a lot of seating area around the facility. Except if you head out to the far seating lessons. Try going in one of the free days then its a lot more fun.
coo***anThe Folk Music Center is a great place to gather with the kids after lunch in Claremont Village. There are many things to see, and children have the opportunity to peruse interesting discoveries. I had the opportunity to watch several performances there. Enjoying live music is both private and a great experience. If you can, please try!
TodemmyWho would have thought that a small local museum in a private high school would have an internationally recognized collection of dinosaur artifacts? But they did it. It is worth seeing that there are fossil footprints of small dinosaurs or birds on the big rocks in the way of entry.
M32***23Obviously, this small museum has already occupied other places, and now a permanent residence can be found in the old Santa Fe Railway Warehouse. The curator/narrator/ticket buyer said that it occupies two rooms, but to be honest, it is more like one and a half, because there is also a table in the lounge room, and the table holds your Tickets are $5, and tickets and other literary works are distributed. However, the choice of exhibiting works by artists related to Claremont is by no means shameful. You may at least find that a couple is arrested in the best way. Most of these are paintings. The museum staff explained to us in detail the background of an artist and other works he found on public buildings in the town (including the local post office). There is also an exquisite small sculpture part, which includes a terrible spear (fish, not weapon) and a pair of moving figures, embracing in a shelter in a cloak, recalling refugees and other so-called “aliens” "Anxiety. I am very impressed with these principles and hope that they will perform well in finding suitable spaces to commemorate the town’s artistic heritage.
coo***anThis beautiful little museum of Pomona College Museum of Art is located at the southern end of Pomona College’s beautiful trees and flowers blooming campus. It may be spotty, but it is almost always challenging.
M32***23A studio gallery on the Green Campus (in the extensive lawn, olive trees and bushes) of Scripps College, featuring lively exhibitions and lecture series. Among their current "Asian Art Treasures at Scripps College" (August 31-Dec. 15, 2019), one of the most unique stars is the Indian Ivory miniature sculpture at Dennisson Library College. The gallery opens on Wednesday, Dec. 5-5. Entrance is free on Sunday. The show's amazing pieces, though small, show the depth and breadth of Asian art at Scripps College. Sculptures are dotted throughout the campus, such as Harriet Tuberman's small bronze (whole-sized works in Brooklyn) in the adjacent courtyard.
