Killin Moments: Through Travelers' Eyes

Post
The beautiful fall Dochart runs through the small town of Killin in Loch Lomond and Trossachs National park, which is 100 kilometers 1.5 hour drive from Glasgow. The falls can be viewed from the village bridge, today the falls are bracketed by two interesting buildings. One on the north side stands what used to be the Breadalbane Folklore Centre house in what was originally called St Filan's Mill which was built to harness the water in 1840, recently it was home to an art and craft shop. On the south side of the river is the Fall of Dochart inn, which started life as a blacksmith in the late 1800s, then converted to a hotel.
