小欣:“The Pena Palace is a very beautiful castle, combining Gothic, Renaissance, Moorish and Manueline styles (Manueline, the architectural style during the reign of King Nouel I of Portugal). It is better to take pictures outside than inside. There are so many people and you have to queue up to see the palace.”
Open tomorrow at 10:00-19:30 (admission ends at 17:30)
M20***16:“It feels a bit like a ghost castle. It rained on the day we went there, which really enhanced the atmosphere. However, the Nine-story Demon Tower was really average and uninteresting. The whole manor was still very photogenic, and we also caught the rainbow after the rain, a double rainbow, which was quite lucky!”

雪花飞舞漫天飘:“In the center of Sintra town, you can take a train from Lisbon. It takes about 20 minutes to walk from Sintra Station to the Royal Palace. Walking through the old streets of the town, the scenery along the way is very good. The Royal Palace displays gorgeous decorations and some of the furniture of the time. Through visiting history.”
Annie长翅膀的喵:“Cape Rocca, the westernmost point of Eurasia, facing the vast Atlantic Ocean, "the land stops here, the sea starts at Si". Good weather, the wind on the cliff is very big, very big, even walking a little staggering, the fear of heights is afraid. The steep cliff is 140 meters from the sea level, surrounded by rocky coastline, the scenery is extremely magnificent, the weather is good, the people are beautiful, it is a serious area for thieves, and you must take care of it.”
Open tomorrow at 09:30-17:30 (admission ends at 17:00)
Annie长翅膀的喵:“The Jeronimos Monastery is a landmark building in Lisbon, known as the peak of Manuel architecture. The day before the big navigators were going to sea, they came to Jeronimos Monastery to receive prayers. Now it is Lisbon's most famous monument. The square next to it, the environment is very good, you can take a leisurely ride.”
Open tomorrow at 09:30-18:00 (admission ends at 17:30)
Annie长翅膀的喵:“Berenta, a world heritage site, is a landmark of Lisbon, a witness to the history of Portuguese navigation. The former Berenta is where the great navigators set off. Berenta is next to the navigational monument, built to commemorate the 500th anniversary of the death of Prince Henry, the seafaring prince, like a ship with a huge sail.”
Open tomorrow at 09:00-21:00 (admission ends at 20:30)
Melsida:“Explore the stunning São Jorge Castle in Lisbon! 🏰🌟 With panoramic views over the city, rich history, and charming gardens, it’s the perfect spot for history buffs and photographers alike. 📸✨ #SaoJorgeCastle #Lisbon #HistoryInTheMaking #ExplorePortugal #TravelGoals”

TheForkUser:“A fantastic experience provided by chef Alexandre Silva in a great setting, blended perfectly with the local environment. We recommend the fish options: an excellent cataplana, a great mushroom risotto with pregado or, my favourite, a garoupa in the josper (the fish varies according to availability). The view is excellent. Service is competent. Deserts were once again unique, and I must recommend the macerated fruits, a fresh taste that is different than any desert you have experienced before. The only thing I thought it was overpriced was the wine. Each bottle is more than 3 times its market value, which I honestly feel it’s too much and can’t find a good reason for this.Overall a great experience, and you can’t find better in terms of high cuisine in the area. You need to go to a crowded Lisbon to find this level of quality.”
TheForkUser:“So predictably excellent, we love the food, the service and the overall experience. Tonight the restaurant was not busy. The service speed could be less rushed to enable diners to savor each dish and their company”
TheForkUser:“The food was very tasty, especially the octopus à lagareiro. The service was very pleasant, with all the staff being very friendly and helpful.”
TheForkUser:“Great place. Quite new to Ericeira, having previously been in Mafra for many years. High quality, beautifully cooked meat and game dishes, traditionally prepared. Recommended for great food and friendly service.”
TheForkUser:“Afonso dos leitãos is always a winning bet. Good food and well served, the house sparkling wine is excellent, the atmosphere is calm and relaxing (it depends on the rest of the clientele). The service is quality and they are extremely attentive. I will come back whenever I have the opportunity and am craving a good suckling pig.”
TheForkUser:“We loved everything, from the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff member who explained everything to us and made us feel welcome, to the meal which was delicious. We chose the La Boheme Brunch and the English Brunch, both amazing.
The only caveat is to recommend caution when going up and down the wooden stairs near the entrance, which become slippery when it rains (I ended up skidding on the way down and ending up on the floor, resulting in a Matcha Latte bath, a drink I tried for the first time and highly recommend because it was delicious, I just felt sad/depressed about wasting it on my face and the floor).
We will definitely be back, but we will avoid the stairs :D”
