As we walked through a now “reclaimed” area of Comuna 13, we saw how graffiti and rap changed the culture within this now popular section of the neighbourhood. We watched as a local dance troupe got together to show off their mad skills, ate ALL the snacks and admired the colourful murals that graced the walls of buildings as symbols and reminders of a hope for continued peace ✌🏻 ⠀
