Historical Site
300***74Drive north from Durham to Newcastle. Compared to Durham Village, Newcastle is a big city. At Durham Railway Station, I also saw a few students going to Newcastle for dinner. The train arrived in about ten minutes. Here I actually saw the city wall, Hadrian’s Great Wall. In fact, this is the northernmost border of the British province of the Roman Empire. There are similarities and similarities with the Chinese city wall. They both defend against the invasion of the North. Along the Tyne River from west to east is the entrance to the sea. In those days, the King of England built some castles here, consisting of a main building with a wooden spire and an earthen outer wall. New castle is the source of the name of Newcastle.

Stadium
TodemmySt. James’s Park is located in the busiest downtown area in Newcastle city centre. In front of the main entrance is a sculpture of Jackie Milburn, the best scorer in Newcastle’s history. Like any modern stadium, the main frame of the steel structure is simple and firm, the floodlights and the columns supporting the roof of the stands are shiny, the stands are distinct on all sides, the seats are clean and bright, and there are locker rooms and trophy showrooms in the stadium. A series of supporting facilities such as gymnasiums, bars and business centers, and even a small police station is set up under the south side stand.

City Park
_GG***10A lovely dog walking park and is great for families. A play area and a train for children to ride. Loads of animals such as sheep, goats, birds to feed and pet. A lovely location for a picnic and fun with the family, would highly recommend for a summer day out.
