凹凸曼和小伙伴Machu Picchu Wonderland in the Mist
📍Location: Cusco Spa Town, Peru
🚌How to visit: Cusco takes a train to Aguas Calientes. There is a minibus to Machu Picchu in the town. It takes about 30 minutes to walk on the winding road. The one-way fare is $12 and the round trip is $24. The minibus ticket window and minibus operating hours are 5:00A.M.~21:50 P.M. A bus takes about 10-15 minutes, with 30 people per bus.
🔺It is not recommended to catch the first and last trains. Machu Picchu is often foggy and the sunrise is not so easy to take pictures. There is no need to deliberately do it.
🎫Ticket: S/158.13 (including handling fee) It is recommended to book tickets on the official website machupicchu.gob.pe one month in advance. The website is unstable, so be patient, try a few times, and persevere. Remember to print it after payment is successful! This is the ticket to enter the scenic spot!
⌚️Play time: regular 1.5 hours. It all depends on the weather. You usually have to wait for the light to get a good photo. This is the waiting time outside of the itinerary.
🛅Luggage storage: Because you want to protect the historical sites, you must have a silicone protective cover under the trekking poles. If you don't have it, you can't bring it into the scenic area. The door storage fee is S/3. Although there are no particularly dangerous sections in the scenic area, and the altitude is 1,000 meters lower than that of Cusco, you can install it lightly. The less things the better.
🌦The weather in the mountains is uncontrollable, so wish yourself luck before you travel. However, the immortal version of Machu Picchu also carries the Holy Light, and Machu Picchu is Machu Picchu. The first half of our journey was cloudy and the second half was rainy.
🚻The original ecological monument means that there is no such sign except for the entrance and exit.
🦙Machu Picchu mythical beasts appear, and most of them have famous brands on their ears.
chinadesk1As soon as you arrive in Cusco, you will visit the Temple of the Sun (QORIKANCHA). The entrance fee is 15 pesos (1 peso = 2RMB). This is a must-see attraction for a group tour. There are a lot of tourists in the Sun Temple. The tour guide is waving a small flag, but it is very quiet. Tourists use headphones to listen to the explanation. In the Inca era, Cusco was the capital of the Inca Empire and was considered the center of the world. This temple of the sun is supreme. In the agricultural era, people pray that the sun god will never disappear. At the Machu Picchu site, there are also stone carvings intended to tie the sun. So far, every year on the winter solstice in South America in June, a grand ceremony to worship the sun god is held. The Temple of the Sun in Cusco is now a ruin, with only part of the outer wall in ruins. The stone wall we saw was made of large, smooth and flat boulders that were irregular but like building blocks. The concave and convex surfaces of the stone occluded tightly without any gaps, showing the design, wisdom and superb skills of craftsmen in the Inca era. According to historical records, the temple of the sun built in the Inca era, the megalithic building, and the outer gold foil wrapped, in addition to enshrining the sun god, there are also moon, stars, rainbow and thunder god, called the golden temple or golden garden. The Spanish colonists invaded, the gold leaf was plundered, and the sun temple was transformed into a monastery. Now you can see some replicas of the old furnishings in the Temple of the Sun, many of which are religious paintings, sculptures, and artifacts. The garden outside the Sun Temple building is full of mystery, which makes people fascinate and admire the Inca culture.

南美当地向导YolandaReceiving tourists to Hot Water Town, almost all the people who come here are to get up for the night and get up early to board Machu Picchu. You can choose a youth hostel or the luxurious Belmond Hotel at the foot of Machu Picchu Mountain.
Take a train from Cusco to Hot Water Town, which is the nearest town to Machu Picchu. It is located at the foot of the mountain at an altitude of 2040 meters. It is only 6 kilometers away from this world-famous World Heritage Site. It takes 1.5 hours to arrive.
There are many special features in Shuhui Town: There are no other vehicles in the town except for the bus to Machu Picchu and a small number of work vehicles. Almost all residents in the town are engaged in tourism, either opening restaurants, hotels, or shopping malls. Souvenirs are sold in the market. It's a bit like Little Lijiang. Tourists can visit the handmade market here, buy a few Incan shawls, and wear them to take pictures in Machu Picchu the next day!
