juki235Lake Bled is a very beautiful European inland lake. The lake here is formed by melting snow-capped mountains. In the middle of the lake, there is a beautiful small island. The island is a church. The pointed towers give people a very fairytale. The beauty of this place is definitely one of the best places to visit the forest scenery in Europe on a leisure holiday. Don’t miss such a beautiful scenery.
juki235Bled Castle is located on the shore of Lake Bled. He is located on a high mountain. The red roof makes him very conspicuous. He can be seen from a long distance. It is condescending to overlook the beauty of the lake and the wonders of the surrounding snow-capped mountains. It is really a romantic place isolated from the world and worth visiting.

For over eighty years, this boutique family hotel has sat in the heart of a Slovenian glacial valley, offering soothing immersion in the towering peaks of the Kamnik-Savinja Alps. The architects built on tradition for their renovation, subdividing a large pre-existing pool, replacing half of it with a smaller whirlpool with a fire place at its center, and repurposing the remaining portion as a recessed area for repose. The new rectilinear statement was designed using exclusively local materials; it extends the extant building’s logic while also opening to the surrounding landscape. On the inside, pebble-laden walls make a physical transition to the outdoors. They help to underscore the sun deck’s visual division into three parts: the sauna area, the central wellness space, and the entrance portal.

Slovenia's capital and largest city is one of Europe's greenest and most liveable capitals; it was the European Commission's Green Capital of Europe in 2016. Car traffic is restricted in the centre, leaving the leafy banks of the emerald-green Ljubljanica River, which flows through the city's heart, free for pedestrians and cyclists. In summer, cafes set up terrace seating along the river; it almost feels like a nightly street party.
Slovenia's master of early-modern, minimalist design, Jože Plečnik, graced Ljubljana with beautiful bridges and buildings as well as dozens of urban design elements such as pillars, pyramids and lamp posts, which exist solely to make the city even prettier. Attractive cities are often described as 'jewel boxes', and here the name really fits. Some 50,000 students support an active clubbing scene, and Ljubljana's museums and restaurants are among the best in the country.

In the middle of the City of Sumbawa Besar, West Nusa Tenggara, the Istana Dalam is a historical witness that witnessed the glory of the Sumbawa Sultanate in its day. Built in 1885, the construction of the building which means this old palace was initiated by Sultan Muhammad Jalaluddin Syah III who became the 16th Sultan of the Dewa Dalam Bawa dynasty. In the form of a stilt house with a building area of 904 M2, Istana Dalam Loka looks very grand. The palace, which was built with wood, has a philosophy of “customs berenti ko syara, syara barenti ko Kitabullah”, which includes all the rules of customs and values in the life of the Tau Samawa (Sumbawa community) that must be motivated by Islamic law.

This is the restaurant that every tourist is seeking out when traveling back to Slovenia. You'll find classic Slovenian staples here, very filling, heart-warming, good. I'd go so far as to say comfort food! Our meal here was well-deserved after climbing the stairs up and down from Bled Castle. The decor is classic gostilna style. We felt like we had a very authentic gostilna meal here. As you'll read in the menu, they make it a priority to locally source all of their ingredients. We went to Gostilna Murka and the menu offers a few different selections where you'll find "platter-style" entrees, so if you are looking to try a little bit of everything, I'd suggest these. We ourselves got the classic squid and potato, and creamy pasta, plus they gave you some sides to eat it with. We closed our big meals with a parfait-style dessert which was heavenly good!

Ah! Lake Bled sits in the one unassuming landscape of my head that makes up unticked travel plans that I’d like to realise before I die. When I think of Lake Bled and its magnificent seat in Slovenia, I’m sated for the day. Maybe it’s the shape of the islet that makes it look like a dollop of cake frosting or maybe it’s the far lands hidden in the mountains that are still reduced to nothing by the presence of this little piece of land. You might wonder why it’s on this list if the world knows about it, but famous as it seems, it still doesn’t get the attention it deserves!
This cave is enormous! We took a mini “train ride” at the beginning inside the cave, then walked around with the audio guide, then hopped back in the train. Time in the cave is amazing.
