pxy0705Franz Josef Glacier is a famous glacier national park on the west coast of New Zealand's South Island. There are hundreds of kilometers of snow-capped mountains here, and the snow does not melt all the year round, for tens of thousands of years. The ecological environment of the entire glacier is very good. The stream flowing down from the melting glacier is clear and sweet. The scenery along the way is very beautiful. It is definitely a good place for hiking.
137***66We were looking for a place to avoid the prevailing winds and found that the area is a popular attraction. After lunch, we took a short walk to the nearby cave-strolling along the creek in the bushes.
denis天涯任我行Another sight in Hokitika is the glowwormdell, a free glowworm cave, located just across the road from the shiningstarbeachfrontaccommodation on the coast. There are signs at the entrance and free parking. Walk along the trail on the left for 2-3 minutes. It was raining when I went there. It was slippery and I couldn’t see my fingers. This is the first time I came here. I don’t know the terrain very much. You need to be very careful. The flashlight inside is quite unscrupulous and immoral, and the flashlight cannot be used to take pictures. There are iron wires on both sides of the road, and the vertical woods are covered with glowworms. The stars are dotted with stars, as if they are in the Milky Way. Why is the New Zealand firefly called glowworm and not firefly, because it is a kind of worm that can't fly. It clings to moist woods and caves. It spits out sticky filaments like nets, attracting flying insects with its own light. This place is recommended to go after 9 o'clock in the evening, the darker the more beautiful.

Westland Tai Poutini National Park is located on the western coast of New Zealand's South Island. Established in 1960, the centenary of the European settlement of Westland District, it covers 1,320 km², and extends from the highest peaks of the Southern Alps to a wild and remote coastline. Included in the park are glaciers, scenic lakes, and dense temperate rainforest, as well as remains of old gold mining towns along the coast. Franz Josef Glacier and Fox Glacier are two popular tourist attractions within Westland Tai Poutini National Park. The park offers hunting opportunities for red deer, chamois, and tahr, while helicopters allow hunters to access the rugged, mountainous areas. The popular Copland Track runs upstream from the Karangarua River bridge.
The area around Fox Glacier offers visitors the rare opportunity to easily access the dynamic glacier environment of the forested area. Exploring the natural beauty of this tourist spot in New Zealand can be done by driving and on foot.
Less than 6 km from the town of Fox Glacier, Fox Glacier Valley offers walking and cycling opportunities. At 13 km long, Fox Glacier is one of the longest (13 km) of the many glaciers within Westland Tai Poutini National Park.
Further up the coast, 6 km from Fox Glacier, visitors can take a leisurely stroll around Lake Matheson formed by melting glaciers. On the surface of the lake visitors can see the beautiful reflection of Mount Cook and Mount Tasman.
The most popular activity at Tourist Attractions in New Zealand is of course a helicopter ride observing the glaciers from a height. By flying, visitors can access and explore parts of the glacier where natural phenomena work at their most amazing and many create spectacular ice caves and arches.
On the South Island of New Zealand there is a beautiful place called Fox glacier. I took a helicopter ride to the top of a glacier and then hiked around for a couple hours. it was such an amazing experience
We took a helicopter up the mountain - an awesome experience by itself! The views were spectacular even if the sun kept blinding us a little bit. Make sure to wear warm clothes if you plan on going up here.
Sometimes I couldn't help but encounter the low tide of RP during the trip. I originally planned to walk on the Fox Glacier. I didn't think it was already next to the helicopter, but it was cancelled because of the sudden change of weather. Decisively drove to the franze glacier immediately, and I was disappointed to try to walk for about an afternoon. The result of the
and the glaciers missed was that I walked four rounds away from the Fox Glacier at dusk and early morning. The lake is as flat as a mirror, reflecting the reflection of the highest peak of Mount Cook, beautiful and quiet, which is somewhat regrettable for me to make up.
Fanatic friends should wait for the sunset at lake matheson, and the reflection of the golden snow peak is even more amazing. Well, I saw this scene, but the camera is not in the hand, when the RP value is low on the trip, it is such a disappointment.
On the third day, after the ice, I plan to leave fox

New Zealand | Unexpectedly into the rainforest version of Lake Matheson
Lake Matheson has three viewpoints, clockwise: Jetty Point (20 minutes) - View of View (45 minutes) - Reflection island (1 hour)
It takes an hour and a half to walk around Lake Matheson, which is actually the right time. If you have a physical problem or a time problem, you can choose to go to the Reflection Island directly counterclockwise. After all, this is the climax of the three viewpoints.
Route: There will be a winding road in the entrance to Matheson Caf for 10 minutes, with Lake Matheson on the side, Car Parking on the side, and Car Parking.
My God, am I going wrong? ! The moss covered with trees is so cute that it will explode, forgive me for the love of moss. So I took a one-and-a-half-hour road for two and a half hours. I experienced two heavy rains in the middle. If I said that I was dizzy, no one believed it!
