Restaurant Wilde Zwijnen

It was not lunch time when we came, but the restaurant was still crowded. It seems that this restaurant must be very popular. The food we ordered was very delicious and the price was very reasonable. We were very satisfied. We had eaten Chinese food so many times in Amsterdam, and this time was the best. It allowed us to taste the authentic Chinese taste.

The BBQ pork buns here are very famous, with thin skin and lots of meat, and they taste great. Many people who come here to eat the BBQ pork buns will also order other dishes, and you will not be disappointed. You can choose a rice set and BBQ pork buns or add some other dishes. The food is served quickly, and it only takes about 5-10 minutes to wait. If you don't want to wait, you can choose to come before lunch and dinner.

The selection and preparation of ingredients are very careful. The restaurant is not large, but it makes people feel very comfortable.

We had an amazing experience!Potion sizes were perfectly measured. I loved the option of the ‘Half glass’ wine paring menu (which in all fairness is the equivalent to a regular Danish pour!)The vibe is down to earth, attentive staff with an impressive 'know-how' when it comes to wines. The interior is industrial (cast concrete, plank tables, steel/architectural chairs and soft bulb lighting - also with a hint of bohemian - ceramics, wooden cutlery and heavy curtains. It is all brilliantly topped up with a soundscape presenting music such as Stan Getz smoothly transitioning to funky vibes like Fat Freddy's Drop. Pricing is fair and budget friendly. All in all definitely worth a visit!

This was a really memorable meal, the food was incredible and worthy of a star, but the service made it, informal neighbourhood vibes yet attentive and not over bearing. Knowledgable about each dish and wine would come back again and again. Full marks! X
