This lovely restaurant is nestled in an old palazzo on the side of a hill overlooking Florence. Everything about Trattoria La Gargotta was perfect &ndash; excellent service, relaxing jazz music, truly delicious food, and an ambience thoughtfully designed to enjoy a spectacular meal. Thanks for a relaxing evening; we&rsquo;ll return for sure.

We came to the restaurant after a recommendation, we absolutely loved the food, the service was great the atmosphere was very nice we see ourselves coming back to the restaurant in the future.

Aghim is the most gracious host and his homemade limoncello to die for. Vegetarian options limited but that&#39;s to be expected. Great Fiorentina.

Everything was perfect! Service excellent also. It is one level up from the rest we have visited in our 4 day trip in toscan. Dont miss it!!!

A friendly and warm welcome immediately put me at ease. At no time did I feel at pressure to hurry, I was able to enjoy the view and atmosphere. The food is simple and traditional, cooked excellently, the house wine conplimented the meal, and I left with a smile and a feeling of contentment.

Starter (alici fritte), pasta (carbonara di mare), and dessert (tartufo nero e lemon curd), all very much approved! Service friendly and welcoming. The place is somewhat less quaint than it looks in pictures. Excellent price-quality ratio with the Fork offer, but also without it would be acceptable. Overall, a good find!

The restaurant is very nice and has a huge parking. Be aware that when the restaurant opens at 19:00 h doesn&rsquo;t mean that they are ready for guests. This seems to be different in Italy than in other countries. So we ended up in disturbing them in their briefing/mutual dinner and preparation of the tables which made us feel uncomfortable as well. The boss was clearly not interested in doing business with a small table and didn&rsquo;t manage to make a kind face until a big group was arriving. I wish that all the guys working there including the boss would have had a kinder attitude to all the guests of this restaurant. However the food and wine was good.

Restaurant located inside the Together Inn hotel. It is easy to reach and above all as soon as we arrived we immediately found parking in front (not so obvious nowadays). Welcome and kindness as soon as you enter. The waitress Letizia is very nice, she immediately put us at ease and was always available. The menu leaves room for a slightly sophisticated cuisine, but very good despite everything. We were able to use the yums on the bill and everything was regularly applied to us. To return in the summer for dinners in the outdoor garden or for the wine tasting! Thanks the fork!
