The Riverside

Fantastic restaurant on the water. We ate in the bar as we had our dog with us and they were so friendly - even providing plush dog beds! Food was fab and well priced and service was quick. We ate in 3 restaurants over the weekend in the area and it was easily the best!

This is not the first time we have dined here and enjoyed it both times. The waitresses were very friendly and attentive.The food was delicious and well presented. The first time we came it was very busy and this time not very at all so it felt a bit lacking in atmosphere. We had a great table by the window but found we could not see out very well as the structure of the windows were such that, while sitting, the divider between the upper and lower windows was just where you would look out and unfortunately blocked the riverside view. However, a very pleasant visit.

a pleasant and quite intimate atmosphere, kind staff, a beautiful location, the quality-price ratio should perhaps be adjusted..

Would only recommend the restaurant in warm weather as on 27/11/21 we were freezing sitting next to window despite overhead heaters. Only stayed for main course.

We really enjoyed the food and the service was excellent The only downside was the restaurant were not aware of the Fork and had never heard of yourselves. This caused a problem trying to get the 50% discount for food and we were there for ages arguing with them until they complied. An unsatisfying ending to a very enjoyable meal
