This is a traditional Czech restaurant. Used to be a brewery. We had excellent Czech food with duck, dumplings, sausage and cabbage. The dark Kozel was marvellous and so was the service.

Traditional Czech dishes in the heart of Brno

Food all (starter and main) served at once, insufficient place at the table, quality of food insufficient - especially cesar salad, and above all unfriendly waiter, just interested in getting a tip. We will never go there again.

Bad experience in a good looking pub

With only the one day in Brno we made 2 visits to the restaurant yes that good - those sausages were the best ive ever tasted just try the lamb sausages from the  smokehouse you will not be disappointed trust me

Very polite and friendly staff. It’s a traditional Czech restaurant / pub that serves Czech food as well as bar food / snacks. Beer was excellent of course. I ordered the ‚Kolkovna’ wings which should be their house wings. They were supposed to be spicy. They weren’t spicy at all, but instead TOO salty for my liking (the marinade was definitely too much on the salt).
