Ietta Focu - Sapori di Calabria

The food was very good and of high quality. Everything was Calabrian, even the beers and soft drinks. The 5 of us took advice from the owner, who was very helpful and friendly, and we tried a meatball filled with caciocavallo and nduia, 4 pitte (soft rolls filled with cold cuts and sauces) and 1 wonderful parmigiana, water, 2 beers, 1 dessert and 3 coffees. The price, despite the 20% discount, was €96.50... maybe a little excessive €19.50 for a sandwich... even if everything was quality.

With great pleasure I took a journey through the flavors of Calabria. I totally relied on the tastes and knowledge of the girl who was able to choose for me a series of tastings with a fantastic flavor. All foods are prepared directly by the owner who with great skill and balance manages to offer both spicy and sweeter dishes. Even the fact that the menu changes every day based on the availability of raw materials is a symptom of attention and care for the customer. Girls, you are really good. Keep it up.

Another great experience at Ietta Focu. This time we tried pita and friselle, appreciating once again the quality and freshness of the raw materials and the care in the preparation. Recommended!

An unexpected surprise that was worth the detour from the A1. We ate very well and were welcomed and pampered. An excellent platter of cold cuts and cheeses and a spectacular zucchini parmigiana. It was also convenient to be able to buy Calabrian products! We will be back ❤️

I spent my last evening in Florence here with my parents. We ate very well, and the owners made us feel at home! Super grateful, we were happy. 🫶🏽
