The food here was absolutely delicious. The restaurant was very quiet being January so there would have been more vibe with more people. The food and service was exceptional.

We found SemiXO by chance on the way to our holiday villa and it looked so nice from the outside that we looked up the listing and booked for supper. We loved the look and layout of the restaurant and the experience was even better than expected. The food was fantastic with slightly quirky takes on well known dishes, the drinks list is extensive and the service was faultless. We will definitely return when next in Carvoeiro.

Absolutely incredible in every aspect. Cannot recommend this place enough, there is nothing negative to say. Perfection!

We visited on Friday night - myself, my wife and our 2 sons (ages 24 and 20). We sat outside on the courtyard which was very pleasant with soft music playing adding to the relaxing ambience. Very friendly service was complimented by excellent food. The gins were great with my son highly impressed. We each had a different starter and all were very good - my Burrato XO just excellent. 3 of us had steaks and one the garlic prawns which again were all excellent. Only one had dessert but again very good and rounded off a very pleasant evening in a relaxing location with excellent food. We are here for 2 weeks and will visit again to experience and enjoy this great restuarant. Highly recommended by us.

Booked our 15th anniversary dinner with SemiXO. What a good surprise!! Throughly enjoyed the meal, black seasame panno cotta was chef’s kiss to my Asian dessert taste. Service was excellent, very thoughtful for offering blanket (I had my own scarf, not requested) when she knew we preferred outdoor table.
